Volks VS BlueFairy Skin Comparison
Because some poeple were wondering, so this may be useful. Particuarly anyone wanting to stick an MSD head on a BF body or vice versa. granted, I have no way of being able to tell if the head will fit, but I think it's pretty safe to say the skin tone won't be a problem. ^__^
Points of Reference:
- Both have normal skintone.
- Both are uncoated/unblushed.
- Shikai is not a pureskin FCS. (ie, old Volks resin.)
The BF resin is a tad bit more yellow than the Volks, but this doesn't show up in pictures as much. (Double plus for anyone wanting to mix and match.) I've also heard some people say that the BlueFairy resin feels more 'plasticky' than Volks, but I honestly can't tell much of a difference. Shikai feels a eensy bit softer, but he's also new and I haven't had the chance to really dirty him up while playing with him, if that would make any sort of difference. With that, I'll shut up and let you see for yourselves. ^__^
