File 007: Reading Session
There's a strip of wooded area directly across from my house and a path leading down to a creek and overhang where I like to sit and read sometimes. My lovely friend Lone Sheep had sent me some new books for my birthday so I drug one of them, Vikas and my camera down with me.
Vikas: What did we come down here for again? Are we going to go exploring the woods? =D
Leigh: Er, no, this isn't really a good palce to hike. XD; I come down here to read usually. ^^
Vikas: Oh.. *disappointed* So what book?
Leigh: Survivor, by Chuck Palahniuk! He's one of my favorite authors- Sheep gave it to me for my birthday! X3
Vikas: Sheep? That's an odd name...
Leigh: Well, her real name is Emily. We met on the internet a couple years back but I still call her by her screen name. XD;
Vikas: Okay, well you read your boring book- I'm going to go explore, okay?
Leigh: >_0 Fine- Just don't wander very far. And be careful not to fall into the creek.
Vikas: *pouts* Are you trying to ruin all my fun?
Leigh: I'm trying to keep you in one piece... =___=
Vikas: Well, you worry too much! XP *walks off*
Leigh: *shakes head and sighs*
*A little while later, Leigh looks up from her book*
Leigh: Vikaaaaas, what the hell are you doing?? @__@
Vikas: What? I'm just sitting here looking at the creek!
Leigh: Can't you see how far down you could fall? You'd get smashed to bits! XO
Vikas: Quit freaking out! I'm not going to fall! XP
Leigh: Damn right you're not. You're not going to explore anything, and you're going to sit right here in my lap while I read.
Vikas: Oh come ooon! Reading is boring, let's do something else! *whines*
Leigh: So not listening to you.
Vikas: *sighs* Alright fine. Here, I'll even read your stupid book to you so I have something to do. >>
Leigh: Yay! Except... I don't think this book is appropriate for kids.... o_0
Vikas: TOO LATE. You win, so shut up and listen. "The night before I left home..."
