In light of recent events, it has occured to me that some involved are not very familiar with my past and how computers and I are connected.
Especially since some have been doubting my abilites to manage, manipulate and take command of a bunch of binary numbers stored on electronic hardware.
Yes, I am a hacker. And here is my Resume.
The place I originated from was much different from where I now reside with Leigh. The internet and computer systems were vital for society to function, so much so that books, papers, and data stored in non-electronic format had almost become unheard of.
Children weren't born with silver spoons in their mouths, but with keyboards underneath their fingertips.
It was arranged for me to begin an extensive training program on the use of computers inside and out when I was five. By the time I was ten, there were very few obstacles and problems that I could not solve concerning computers.
When I was fifteen.. I intentionally caused a massive system crash which resulted in the depressingly computer-depedant state of the world that destroyed the way of life people had grown accustomed to.
It nearly set society back to the dark ages during the long years it took them to recover from it. It is an action I regret now. But the damage had been done, and even with their new overhauled systems, I have yet to find a system I could not break into.
Veritas, if you (or anyone else) still wish to challenge me in a hacker's duel, you are more than welcome. It will be quite an enjoyable way to kill some time. *grin*
