Leigh: It's just the same old shit. I'm just feeling a bit depressed because I was thinking just how much of your life gets spent trying to pay bills and make ends meet. It's really pathetic. Not to mention I've STILL got to register for classes and work on grad school applications and get a new insurance card and make a dentist appointment and and and...

Shikai: Anyway- Snap out of it. You're going to upset the kid if you keep acting depressed.

Shikai: You know why he left home right? His dad tried to hang himself so he was going to be put into foster care. Except he was afraid to because he'd heard horror stories from the kids at his old school. Apparently there's a lot of dislocated kids where he came from. So it's not going to be good for him to see you sink into a black hole.
Leigh: @__o!! He told you all this? Why didn't he tell me?! XO
Shikai: He didn't want you to worry, since you're always so busy. Said you have enough to worry about. So pretend you don't know.

Shikai: Whatever. Anyway, don't waste your time getting mushy with me. Go take the kid to the park or something, he's been bored out of his mind if you haven't noticed. It's driving me crazy.

Shikai: And start working on your portfolio and essays for grad school. And it's the weekend, so don't forget the comic update. And you need to finish the outfit for Sadame. And make a payment on your credit card. And...
